The Indian government’s push to link various official documents and identities of citizens with their Aadhaar numbers has been a topic of discussion for several years now. The PAN Aadhaar link is one such initiative that aims to simplify the taxation process by connecting a person’s PAN card with their Aadhaar number.
PAN stands for Permanent Account Number, which is a unique 10-digit alphanumeric identifier assigned to each taxpayer in India. On the other hand, Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identification number that is issued to residents of India based on their biometric and demographic data.
